Qualified program participants will meet one on one with our Disability Inclusion Coordinator to answer questions you may have on open positions of interest at UChicago Medicine. Our Disability Inclusion Coordinator will then provide you with any necessary assistance throughout your interview and onboarding experience, and from application to hire. Should you accept a position at UCM, the Disability Inclusion Coordinator will also provide support throughout your first year to ensure you feel adequately supported.

Required Qualifications: 

• A completed High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited body
• 18 years or older
• Proof of disability of any kind as defined by the ADA.
  • You are considered to have a disability if you have a physical or mental impairment or medical condition that substantially limits a major life activity, or if you have a history or record of such an impairment or medical condition.  Disabilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Autism
    • Autoimmune disorder, for example, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, or HIV/AIDS
    • Blind or low vision

    • Cardiovascular or heart disease
    • Celiac disease

Compensation & Benefits Overview

UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits.  The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
